yep, i am on yet another break from Ask Heather

(i put a "2021" at the end of the journal title because if i made another journal saying i'm on break from it, i may use the title again & you get the idea)

i had just answered the last few questions i had & had disabled the comments on the original post where you ask your questions.

i've been wanting to put it on a break for weeks now & as summer's just around the corner, i thought now would be appropriate. i've honestly been feeling a little burnt out on doing Ask Heather of a little while (since last month or a few months ago) just not really feeling like i was enjoying it as much as i think i used to, i won't go into why tho. honestly, i don't really know if i'll open it up again, i'll just see.

in the mean time, i wish to spend the summer doing things, especially things i don't think i do enough of, like practicing my guitar, even in lockdown last year, i didn't practice enough but i will try to. i do play about with it from time to time but not as often as i should.

btw, i'll still be drawing Heather, she ain't going anywhere.

Ok, i really hate to ask this but for my Ask Heather thing, do you think you could try asking "non-visual" questions please? what i mean by "non-visual" (for lack of a better word for it) is questions like asking to see her doing , dressed as (insert thing here) or whatever else is close to it & i ask this of you because i feel like this whole thing is being treated like some kind of request thing when that is NOT what i'm doing this for & while some of them have been ok, some have also been not, i won't go into specifics but i think you know which i'm referring to. i also feel as those questions are just to get a picture which i did technically start it for but since the 2nd revival last year & the 3rd revival months ago, i have been more selective of which answers i draw out.

plus, some of these questions feel kind of the same as previous questions & it can get a little tiring doing over & over again. like her in her undies or swimsuit & stuff for example, not saying i don't enjoy drawing them, i do but i feel like that's the sole reason those kinds of questions are being asked which i can't really find a word to describe how i feel about that.

i really hate that this even had to be written & i hate to be this guy & complain-y & what-not but i just wanted to get this off my chest because i've been feeling like this recently.

not sure what else i can say as i'm not very good at putting things into words & it takes me forever to do so but i do hope you understand.

so if you want to keep asking Heather questions, you can but just remember, don't ask questions for the sole purpose of getting a pic (i will draw one if i feel it's appropriate) & try asking different kinds of questions if you can.

i bet you're all pretty excited to hear this. sorry for the (extremely longer than needed) absence but i've been a little busy with stuff as well as thinking of what do do regarding Ask Heather.

during this long break, i've been thinking about what to do with this & as of now, as it may disappoint some of you, i will respond to questions in writing.

with that said, i may do a few of them drawn but not all which isn't that different from what i tried doing before but i was thinking of continuing doing drawn responses, i was thinking of leaving the drawings black & white & slightly shade them because while colouring in the drawings is nice, as i use pens, it takes up quite a fair bit of ink for each picture & not only that but thinking of what to say takes a bit of time, depending on what is asked & thinking of what to draw Heather doing when answering. but that hasn't been on my mind for a while & bottom line, responses are only going to be written sorry about that & i hope you understand.

also, some questions may inspire future drawings & when that does, i'll be sure to say which question & who asked.

1 more thing, keep questions SFW & nothing too OTT or explicit or stuff like that. oh, & also absolutely NO real world stuff (like recent events like politics & stuff). but most of all, have fun. Heather: "hello everyone, sorry i've been gone so long, i've just been very busy. i do hope you're alright & are safe."

UPDATE - 07/02/2021: i kind of forgot to add something to make it a little clear, i intended to have questions about hobbies, interests & stuff like that instead of questions like "can we see you in X", "can we see you do Y" & stuff like that. basically, giving you the opportunity to have a (proper interaction) chat with her. that's what i've been wanting to try out when i started this again & would really appreciate it if you could stop asking me to draw the response when i respond to your question in writing. i don't say any of this to be mean & i understand Heather has quite the sex appeal to her but she has more than just that going on.

This is something I wanted to mention for a while now & I think you all deserve to know or have some sort of idea. I have been wanting to open it back up again because I know how much some of you seem to like interacting with her, but for some reason, I just haven't been feeling it. I did enjoy having her answer your questions & drawing them (later on, being more selective with which answers to draw out) but I did also get the odd few questions that i just didn't feel comfortable answering (for whatever reason). For a few months now, I was considering bringing it back but when I did answer questions with a drawing, I would not colour it in like I usually would but instead, add shading to it & the reason for that is to save up my pens for my other pics. but more recently, I've also been thinking of having you simply just talk with her. there are a number of reasons why i haven't done it in months, busy with other stuff, lack of motivation just to name a couple, is nothing against anyone, it's just how i feel.

Nothing's been decided yet so i'll just have to see.

P.S. i started this draft a month ago & saved it in my Sta.sh because i wasn't quite done with it & meant to get to it as soon as i got Wifi at our new house but i kept forgetting to do so & was still thinking of what else to write before i submitted this.
